Help! Control arms rubbing on bags
Only concerned with the front suspension. Here is my set up. Airlift struts with bellow style bags, ZSS racing upper control arms, Tdemand case adapters, everything else stock.
Here is my problem. The ucas have been rubbing on the upper bellow of the bag or both sides and actually wearing it down. When I inflate the bag fully and move the arm through it's full range of motion it is close but I can either fit a pinky or more between the two throughout its range. Even when fully deflated it does not touch. Not sure when it is rubbing but it is obvious that it is since the stock control arms did not do that. It seems like the block at the end on top of the ball joint is too big because of the hex bolts allowing for camber adjustments. The stock arms did not have this therefore did not rub.
I need new control arms which offer more clearance so the arm and bag won't rub. I would like to keep a 0 degree camber or as close as possible set up for the front since it has now become the daily driver. I don't want to go back to stock as they did not seem to take airing out well.Any suggestions?
Also what are all you other AirLift guys running?
