The JDM foglight housings have a yellow tinted glass capsule that surrounds the bulb and tints it yellow. US fogs don't have this. You could get the yellow HID kit but you won't need those yellow housings you posted. Unless you just want them. You could also get some yellow vinyl tint and put that on your stock housings.
There are also yellow incandescent bulbs out there if you don't want HIDs.
I now use amber LED bulbs for my fogs because i just like the look better than HIDs (which tend to look green to me) or incandescent (which have blown out on me multiple times in other cars). They also match the other amber LEDs I have installed.

I saw the look you had on the first picture and I really like that tone of yellow. Is that when you just put the incandescent bulbs in place...?
^^^Your 98 GS400 didn't come with yellow fogs? I thought all GS400's came with yellow fogs unless previous owner took them out. And yes it's just a bulb with yellow capsule.

previous owner probably switched them out. I did a clear for yellow fogs trade a few years ago.

you have no idea what you're talking about. ALL models that came with factory HID headlights came factory with yellow fogs. ALL OF THEM
i did a fog light retro and then put yellow tint overlay since i had to break the yellow capsule to do the foglight retro

you're also wrong... all gs400's DIDN'T come with HID's so they didnt have yellow fogs. any gs300/gs400 that a customer ordered with HID headlights came with yellow fogs and as far as i am aware ALL GS430's came with HID's so they all DID have yellow fogs

re-read my statement. I never said all gs4's came with HID's. I essentially said all GS4's with the HID's came with yellow fogs. Maybe I could've worded it differently, but Honestly I could give two ***** debating about something that's over 20 years old and well known.
