I posted a thread about is it safe to drive your car pass 110 miles an hour with high mileage. I want to see how fast i can drive my car at times but I've known two people who cars got messed up by doing this. I have a friend who had a 2014 impala with 38,000 miles & he was racing someone one night & his head gasket or something got messed up. Now that car is dead. Another friend of mine was racing and his transmission broke down. So I'm asking is it safe to drive your car past 110 mph at times. I have a 03 GS430 with 110,000 miles.

Be safe and don't do it. Please refrain from posting multiple threads asking the same question.

please go away...please! I now see why I was away from CL for two years. The "ricers" have taken over this forum. If you want to race your car, pay for time and take it to the strip! Don't be a dumba$$ and race on public streets.

Can't tell if it's a serious question. Maybe just trolling for attention.

Let's play nice folks, i'm sure he was serious about his inquiry .

Just remember, there's no such thing as a stupid question.
