Ok medicaldoc thank you for you feedback I appreciate it do you have anything that pertains to the super charger kit itself and not a personal opinion?

To be fair he responded to your post which similarly is a personal opinion and not topical to the thread.

Let the moderators moderate the conversation please. Report the post if there is an issue; his post was not one.

I was saying thank you and asking if he had anymore feedback about the super charger kit no rudeness was intended.

I was always under the impression the Toyota v8s don't take well to boost and you can't really get much out of them without beefing up the pistons. And that's from research on my tundra 2uz. Am I to believe an stroked, aluminium block for a luxury car is better able to get boost than its iron block brother ? Legit question

If I were turning my 2GS into a track, drift, show or sleeper car, this would be a no-brainer.

I agree with the comments about the price/HP, though. If you would have to mod the tranny to get more than 65 out of this kit, it is just not worth it.

If I wanted a GS with 365, I would just get a GS460. For the price of the kit/mods/installation (if you have to pay for that) you could get a 460 and keep the 2GS for a DD or trip car.

This may be a fre-flame question, but, how hard would it be to put the 460 drivetrain in a 2GS? The 3GS had the same 4.3 and tranny for a few years, right?

Im interested already. At 7k it would take me some time to consider. Not sure how realistic it would be at a lower price considering what others have said with it costing more than double the cars value. Would this be possible for a gs400. Doubt there is much of a difference in fabricating the parts. I recently picked mine up last year and pretty sad to see the market for these die off over the years. Was lucky to find a clean 1 owner low mileage example. Currently have coilovers, wheels, ls400 brakes and an r154 with clutch, fly wheel and driveshaft.

I dont think enough people have been through the hassle of actually modifying/tuning a car to realise the ease of a quality kit. Not only are you saving yourself the headache of puzzling parts together but you are being gaurenteed a plug and play kit at stock drivability.

Would like to know more about what would be included. How would it be tuned? Would ecu be included or something like a piggy back be made to plug in or would that be something we would purchase outside of this kit.
