Can’t install transmission control shaft rod

Default Can’t install transmission control shaft rod
Hey,guys ! I’ve ran into a problem while swapping my transmission (with the same one).I’ve installed everything,but can’t seem to fit the transmission control shaft lever.It just seems shorter,although I’m mounting everything like it was before.Anyone got some ideas ? Already tried moving the shifter forward/backwars but even then I can’t make the rod reach both shifter and mission mounting points.

Perhaps you're installing it upside down?

I’m installing it the way it’s shown in the service manual.The end where it meets the shifter is different though.I’ll take some photos tomorrow.

The end looks bent or modified. Try straightening out or get a replacement rod.
