I painted my seats but now they are cracking.
I used dupli color vinyl and fabric to paint my car seats in Lexus gs300 2003. I cleaned and prepared the seats really good. I used light coats when i painted the seats. I waited 24 hours for them to dry. The seats looked like brand new after i painted them. When i sat on the seats they started to crack everywhere. The paint doesn't completely crack but there is lots of lines if you press on the surface. It says on the paint that its flexible and wont peel or crack. Why is the paint cracking. If i press on the painted area i can hear it cracking and see the lines forming in the seat and the lines don't go away. What did i do wrong. Am i supposed to use different paint for my seats or am i not doing something right. How can i fix this problem. This is the paint that i used https://www.ebay.com/i/152543593946?chn=ps&dispItem=1

Duplicolor works fine on carpets and fabrics, but it sucks *** on plastics, leather, and vinyl. For a diy spray SEM as mentioned above is the only way to go. There is a reason it is 3x more expensive than duplicolor, and that's because it works.
But now that you have sprayed them you will have quite the time trying to fix them. Either have them professionally cleaned and dyed or buy another set of seats and start over. Or if you are looking for black seats, we have plenty of black interior parts and front and rear oem gs seats instock at our Virginia location ready to ship.
