GS300 shakes when idle or at full stop then dies
Hi everyone. So I own a 2001 Lexus GS300. It's pretty old and worn with 242xxx miles on it. Anyway, I've recently been experiencing problems with my car. It started when I first started up the car this morning. When I was backing out of my driveway, my car would start shaking upon reverse and I had no clue why. Acceleration was pretty normal but then when I came to a stop sign or a stop light and held my brakes long enough, either I would have to full press down on the acceleration to get the car moving or the car would start shaking and then die. When it dies, my dashboard would reset to how it would look when only turning on electronics (or what I assume). From there I'd have to put the car in park, turn off the engine, and restart it. I have no idea why it's happening all of a sudden but it was definitely scary, especially since I had 2 other passengers in the car with me. I have a feeling it may be the fact that I let my mom borrow the car and she put in 87 octane when she was supposed to use 91 premium. I really have no idea but any help would be great!

She's about 3 full tanks in with 91 octane since the 87 octane fuel up. Last I did a tune up was about 4 months ago. Checked the MAF sensor and cleaned it, still experiencing the same issues. Though, my dad and I noticed the oil cap was loose so we tightened it and it seemed to have stop the issue where my engine would die. Still experiencing the shaking though.
