Default Would this shifter **** fit a '01 GS300?

The description says it would fit a GS300 but the list of applicable models does not list it. Does anyone know if this **** would fit?

Yeah I just bought one of the same brand, just in a different color combo. I think it has plastic threads inside as it doesn't really tighten down well like the OEM one. I'm going to Loctite it when I get a chance.

If the Caveman declines, I'll be glad to take it and pay its shipping.

I don't think I would locktite it. I'm pretty sure locktite melts plastic but you should double check that. I just remember when I was dealing with my center console being loose and on the DIY thread someone tried to locktite the bolts into the plastic console and it ruined it.

I have the OEM one off my 98 GS400 if anyone's interested. PM with a number and I'll text you pics. Guaranteed to fit since it's off my 2GS.

Some pics in the link below, but I have since cleaned it up a bit. Has the wear around the edges of where the leather and wood meet, but still in better condition than most. Ebay sells the OEM 2GS ones for like $80 iirc.
