Ok, I finally got around to doing it. I modded my headlight/fog lights to allow fog lights on at anytime the headlights are on.

This mod allows the fog lights on anytime the LOW OR HIGHBEAMS are on. It does NOT however allow fog lights when parking lights on (working on that).

Its super easy. Pull lower cover on the steering column, there are 3 connectors, the left one is C14, the middle is the power column/steering wheel sensor and the right is airbag. Take C14, and take the green/black wire (mine had silver dots on it too) and ground it (pin 17, which black, heavier gauge). Voila You are done.

You now have fog lights on anytime the low OR high beams are on.

Next experiment is to ground pin 12. That should trigger fog lights to work when parking lights on. I just didn't want risk a condition where the fog lights could be left on while the car is turned off. But my end goal is fog lights on while parking lights on. In bad fog that is the desired mode.

What I do know is if pin 11 is left open, the low/high beams do not turn on at all.
Pin 17 is just ground.

Trying to figure mine out, it was working great but now it suddenly went back to how it was I have to check my wiring.

Side effect I have to look into. I cannot turn my head lights on MANUALLY with the key off now. Interesting side effect.
