New ECU
Hey guys,
New to the forum and did a quick search and didn't find the answer. I am thinking of swapping the ECU from a 01+ jzs161 into my 99. My car does not have an immoblizer but the newer ecu does. If I get the key with the ECU will it start or is the older model lacking the ability to even read the chip in the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
