had water pump, belt and theromosat all replaced 6 months ago. upon starting engine hear squeek from water pump area. happens on dry days and bit more in damp weather. lasts for 30 seconds or so. also heard a couple of times when car was idling for a while. any ideas and is okay to wait for repair until consistently hear noise

Be sure you have a true OEM belt from the dealer. I had my alternator changed by Pep Boys (couldn't make it to the dealer that day) and they used a "Lexus equivalent" belt. Eventually the belt started to squeak. I tried everything, belt conditioner, even took it back and they gave me a brand new belt. Nothing solved it. Took it to the Lexus dealer where they replaced the belt and haven't heard a squeak since. On a good note, the alternator still works great and came with a lifetime warranty.

If you are up for it you can take the belt off and spin each pulley individually to see if you hear the squeek.
If not, they probably aren't being spun fast enough to induce the sound.
You can try to spray some lubricating oil on the guilty pulley, not belt. It might not work if the installed bearing on the pulley is just naturally noisy, I have seen this before. Just don't try to get it everywhere.
The only time I ever had a squeeky belt was when I accidentally spilled a little coolant on the belt but it only lasted a day.
Either way I would recommend taking off the belt, cleaning it and just wiping the all the pulleys with alcohol real quick.
Don't ever use belt conditioner on a serpentine belt. It is only for fan belts or secondary drive belts and says so on the package.
If the belt they put on is aftermarket and made of lesser neoprene compounds this could be the cause and switching to an OEM belt made of EPDM rubber might help as well.
Replacing the whole tensioner assembly blindly wouldn't be ideal unless you need to of course.

Sounds like your tensioner assy. I would recommend you replace your tensioner assy and belt from the DEALER. spraying all those stuff on you belt is only making things worse. On initial start your tensioner is bouncing around before it really stabilize .
