Default 2003 Gs430 - Is this a good deal?

Hi guys, I'm looking at this Gs430. It looks really clean and he's done some big maintenance on it. I'm a little worried about the mileage but I know these cars are pretty bulletproof. Just wanted anyone's input on buying it. Thanks

I'm not in the market for one so I don't have much to compare it to but that car looks clean.

Looks like someone loved it....
I'd try to talk the price down bit... I doubt there's a line of folks looking to buy it at that price.

I just bought a 03, but it only had 97k miles. Super clean. He did timing belt, water pump, and alternator 5k ago. Serviced at lexus.

I paid 7k (pretty good price for miles / condition).

Seems not bad. Front bumper looks repainted. Nice that the timing belt and water pump are already done, those are a pain in the ***.

Thanks guys for the input. I'm gonna see if he'll take $4000 for it. I'll let you know if I get it. I'm currently driving a 2005 Scion xb as my work/commute car but want something a little nicer with some passing power.

Seems like a solid deal. Id try to get them down just because the average people don't want a 200k car even if its as bulletproof as a 1UZ Lexus... I just sold my 04 430 Loaded in similar shape for 8k with 91k miles.

Looks like it's been taken care of, if the interior looks good I would go for it. I just helped my brother in law purchase a one owner '98 GS300 with 282k for $3k so the price is competitive.

Myself, I drive a '99 GS400 with 225k and the car is bulletproof. Believe it or not I had my spark plugs changed for the first time earlier this year at 224,318 miles. Over the years I've had my indy (and dealer) check them regularly finally just said enough is enough and after 17 years had them changed for peace of mind. Couldn't believe they lasted as long as they did.

That being said, I spend about $1k yearly on maintenance. My car is mainly dealer serviced and if something goes wrong it's usually fixed the same week.
