How do these compare to the Supra TT calipers?

Any compatibility with the GS3/GS4?
They would probably be compatible with the GS but the brackets that he used wouldn't work. You'd have to design your own. The big difference with the GS and SC/Supra in the front end is the GS has the tie rod located behind the spindle and the SC/Supra is in front. This gives the SC/Supra a lot more clearance for larger brake calipers.

Since 2GS calipers only barely clear stock 2GS wheels and LS400 calipers don't, I'm going to guess no. I'm curious to see how this all pans out as well though, since I've been casually looking at LS400 calipers and this would be another and possibly more desirable option.

@BiGEZ , are those calipers powder coated or painted?

No, I just cleaned them up and used VHT high temp primer, paint and clear coat.

No the calipers will not clear the stock wheels, you will need at least 17 inch diameter with a lower offset. Just for reference I will be using ESR SR08 wheels 19x8.5 30mm upfront and that barely clears the GS350 calipers. The good thing with this mod you do not need RAC adaptors.

Believe DIY was about $1400 (with rotors, calipers, and brackets), while just buying the parts would have been about $6k?

Comes down to 16" vs. 17", correct? Our 17" rims are heavy, yet can see the gap between the current stock calipers and wheel.

I assume the 16s simply don't provide enough room inside the rim for the GS350 caliper and larger rotor, but our stock 17s have spokes that are very tight to the hub, which also pose a problem. I made this post in the SC forum about how close the 2GS caliper bracket is to the wheel spoke. If the caliper is just 5mm wider outside, you very well may scrape.

This isn't quite a wheel offset issue. It's just that most aftermarket wheels have spoke designs that are more forgiving toward wider brake calipers. The hub mounting face to disc inner surface depth is the measurement that matters for brake clearance, but this is not a standard wheel measurement that manufacturers document. The blue markup in this diagram below is the critical measurement needed. As you can see though, even this measurement will vary based on where you measure inside that blue dotted line, and it's only relevant where the caliper sits inside the wheel.

I have 18" Lexus F Sport wheels with 45mm offset compared to the stock 17s which are 50mm offset, but I gained 15-20mm in minimum caliper-to-spoke clearance due to the more concave spoke design and increased hub depth of the F Sport wheels.

If anyone has the file for this still, I might be able to facilitate getting some adapter machined. I work for an aftermarket performance parts manufacturer with a large CNC facility. I can ask the production manager if we can use the prototype mill to make a few sets. Just throwing it out there.

So I finally got around to completing the 07-10 GS350 calipers and rotors on my 01GS430.
I must say this upgrade is worth it. The difference is huge. The initial bite is immediate with about 30% less pedal effort. There is no slop or dead spots in the pedal feel/response. The car stops much better with very little pedal effort.
Clear the tie rods without having to use RCA spacers.
I am using R1 Concepts rotors and pads along with Stoptech SS braided lines.. Wheels are Nissan 350Z 18 inch which clears the calipers nicely.

Well guys looks like someone made the brackets with a different design. He is selling those brackets. Not sure why it would not fit the 2Gen GS.

Who wants to be the first to try it out on their 2Gen GS?

I got the 350phi adapter brackets since they were entering production right around the time I was about to call some local machine shops to see who could make the adapters in the twin disc style of the ones originally shown in this thread.

Here are my Advics IS/GS350 four-piston front calipers mounted on 350phi caliper adapter brackets. They are powder coated in Prismatic Powders Wilder Red with vinyl-stenciled Lexus logos and Clear Vision top coat. The rotors are Power Stop Evolution coated IS/GS350 334mm rotors.

BiGEZ liked these better than the LS400 caliper swap, and while I can’t compare the two like he could, the IS/GS350 calipers with Akebono Performance ceramic pads feel much better than the stock 2GS calipers. The pedal feel with this setup is now linear and predictable. Light and medium effort braking both feel much more responsive.

In contrast, the stock brakes felt progressive, which is absolutely not a quality I want in the pedal feel. I often told people the stock brakes felt like stomping your foot horizontally in a tray of mashed potatoes. They felt like they only worked if you were to slam your foot through the floorboard.

Like pretty much any caliper upgrade for these cars, forget about OEM 2GS wheels fitting without a spacer (and I personally hate spacers). There is very little clearance between the stock calipers and the wheel spokes of both the factory 16s and 17s, and these calipers are much wider across the hub. 350phi's kit comes with a wheel fitment template that you can cut out and sweep around the hub mounting face of your wheel.
