Thoughts on OEM headlight change out

I was wanting to get the community's thoughts on how these look on our 2nd Gen GS.

I would also stick with oem over both those, especially the first ones.

I've seen the the second ones in person... Look VERY cheap. I dont think they make an aftermarket headlamp worth a dang like they have for tail lights. Its always best to invest in a retrofit, or at the very least, do a restore on your stocks... The right way.

Man, factory replacements are dirt cheap man! If you have halogen headlamps, just buy a set of new replacements.

They even have gunmetal headlamps now! Where the hell were all these when I did my retro?! LoL

I have headlight #2 with the HID upgrade and I love them. Installed easily, Crystal clear lenses, no issues w/ condensation (and I live in FL).
They look very cool when turned on, w/o being "ricey". Basically same in appearance as a BMW. It goes w/o saying they aren't the quality of OEM.
I'd recommend em though.... for the price it was a great mod.

My personal feeling is #1 are a little over the top.

they both look very cheap and ricey...

Have you seen them in person or just basing your thoughts on the Ebay photos?

It sounds like you are just being negative.

Let me give you some advice, try beginning your statement with "In my opinion" and then following up your statement with the reasons why you believe what you believe. People are much more likely to be receptive to what you have to say instead of just dismissing you as ignorant and negative.

I bought new OEM replacements. I have seen some of these aftermarket lights on cars after a few years and they get cloudy fast. I wouldn't buy either of these.
