Default What is this connector behind fog light?

I took my bumper off of my 01 GS430 yesterday in order to replace a HID ballast. When I was putting it all back together I noticed this unhooked connector behind the drivers fog light. It doesn't go to the fog light, did I miss connecting it to something? Any idea what it is?

Thanks!

It's been awhile since I messed around in that area but, possibly the auto level motor or the the wire that goes from the auto level cpu on the drivers side light that goes to the pass side light.

That's puzzling since I didn't remove the drivers side light and the auto level is functional. Can see where this would even reach to and the other connector bundled with it is capped off. wth

I wonder if US-spec cars still have the wiring on the harness for the headlight washers that were on Canadian and European cars.

That's what I suspect. Anyone with a similar car feel like popping that drivers side fog light out to see? It's only 2 screws.

i actually was taking a look at my fogs this weekend so I also noticed these. Mine have been like this for years so nothing to worry about. The capped off one is probably for the headlight washers we don't have. I dunno why the other one is for although

I have an New Zealand new 1998 GS300, I can have a check when I get home if you're curious? I have the headlight washers so can confirm if it's for those

I came across those myself about two weeks ago. I had the front facia repainted due to peeling & the shop forgot to reconnect the fog & side marker lights. when reconnecting them I too saw this unused connector & pondered for some time what it could be. everything else on the car seems to function. 2001 GS430 too.

There are 2 plugs, one for the motor, one for the relay circuit.
