Have you been able to determine if the radio antenna is properly connected? In the old days, of course, except for GM windshield antennas, you had a large screw-on antenna that usually stuck up vertically from one the fenders, and a cable that went through the firewall to the radio. Today's vehicles have smaller antennas which could be hidden almost anywhere, with more discreet connections......it might take the official Service/Repair Manual to find it. (a common location today is actually towards the back of the roof).

you're seeing the display though for cd track, radion station, etc.?
my bet is it had some aftermarket gear in it before, which was taken out before sale, leaving you with dead audio. i'd take it to an audio shop to fix, or look in the trunk for dangling wires.

I've been *** deep in that thing for 7 hours. No extra wires, but I could tell it was like this before I bought it because I found tools in places where I was trying to find the source of the issue. I'm just gonna get a double din, new amp & be done with it. It's seeming to be a power supply issue
