Here it is in all its glory. It came out just as I thought it would. the proportions look just right and you can see the top of the pulley poking thru. alot of work went into this hood and it paid off.

ya thanks man, i love it. i go in the garage and stare at it sometimes. still figuring out the rubberized plug i wanna make to shove in the hole whenever its raining or carwash time.
No problem bro. I couldnt stop looking at it on here! I remember a few months ago a 4Runner sport came in. When I looked in the hood scoop, it did not look functional. From some reading it looks like a lot of people modified it. Maybe you could do the opposite and buy the oem part, but cut it so only the air block out section is used? Ideally it woud maybe just bolt right in, and maybe use some felt or thin rubber glued to around the insert so it doesnt scratch the paint in the inner lip in the scoop. I'm not sure if this makes sense though as I'm not sure of the inner workings of that hood scoop
