Default I just was getting close to finishing my 98gs (accident)

So i was driving today when a truck loses control on the freeway slamming into me. I just got car near completed and then this happens. I just had surgery saturday from an accident in february. So they took me to hospital my assistant who was in the car with me hurt her knees and I hurt my neck i was going about 55-70 mph he was going alot faster than that before he lost control.

Default thanks

The guy stuck around trying to blame me for him losing control. but he was cited for following too closely and failing to maintain control.

I hope to recover quickly in february i was in a prior accident in my g35 that was totaled that when i bought the gs. Just had surgery from that accident last saturday. so this for sure didn't help at all.

I was shocked to hear $15,900 in damage the whole rear subframe, exhaust, wheels, tires, needs new wrap, front bumper, rear tails, and lower door panel drivers door. This very upsetting news. So would it be safe to find a used rear subframe to change out current damaged one? Also was wondering if their are any parts I should upgrade while this work gets done? I know I will have salvaged title but with the transmission and motor rebuilt less than 1k miles ago, the brakes and suspension 2.5k ago, body straightened and wrapped 2 days prior to accident. I don't see a point not to repair it as long as it will be safe and stable to drive. Also i could use some help in finding different rims While the av-06 looked nice I don't think they were best choice on the gs looking for something flat black with blue accents.

Sorry that happened. Glad you aren't hurt worse and wish you a quick recovery.

Are you saying the insurance company is willing to pay $15,900 to fix the damages?

No it's going to be totaled out but they will be cutting me a check close to 20k after i pay the junk value. Mainly for the for the recent work and upgrades done. So then I am trying to decide if it's worth it to fix it or just trash it and start fresh with another car. Old owner put like 12k before I bought it I paid 2k for it. The motor trans brakes and suspension all replaced prior to me buying it. Then I put about another 4.5k into it with wrap stereo body work etc. so i'm in it 6.5k total.
