Either oem or moog. I replaced mine with moog and It has been about 30k miles ever since never had a problem with them. Rockauto sells them for cheap.

I replaced mine in 2008 with OEM brand at 52717 miles. 15K miles later I might have to re-visit this.

What is the life expectancy / miles of this part on a slammed car?

Depends on how much you drive it and how slammed you are im assuming. Is it making noise when you're driving?
