How do you hold your hood up

Mine work fine. If they failed, I suppose I would use a broomstick or something to hold the hood up while I replace them.

I bought some made in usa hood struts off ebay for 20$ shipped, 10 minutes to put on.

When mine failed without notice, apparently my head was used to keep the hood open whether I wanted to or not.
DIdn't take long before I ordered a new pair of struts.

But if I did have problems new ones would be ordered the same day lol smh
