slight coolant leak somewhere near radiator

I have a slight leak somewhere near the left (looking at engine) of the radiator. I get a couple drips under the car when I stop and the car sits for while. Are there any common areas to check for possible leaks? The front of the engine is clean and dry all around the water pump and the right side of the radiator.

There is a little scum/ dried coolant drip lines below the lid of the resivour/overflow tank, but it never looks wet. I will try to get some pictures up soon.

Mine has no crack, but, the reservoir top piece is black and tank is white, and they jointed but a few pins not glued I think. When coolant get hot it often escape the the edges. I'm not sure whether there is a fix. I asked Autozone, if there is a leak there is no way to fix. But somebody just use soldering iron(optional), with glues to stop the leak:
sand, degrease, then use Goop adhesive, or ptrseal 80726:

I'm agree with you lastguy,
akafuture, that happened to me a few years ago and I just separate both part the black top one with the plastic clear tank one. I dryer both plastic parts and I put black silicone inside of the back top part. Put both part back together and still seal and good for all this years. Also, check the plastic cap. That cap loose the pressure and that is why leak coolant sometime for the hose. Chance that cap too.

its appears that i am leaking from the over flow tube. this one drop was wet only from the overflow tube. not wet anywhere else. i have not touched the coolant system at all since owning the car. not sure how air would have gotten in. any other thoughts?
