Installing an OEM Deck Spoiler on 99 GS300
Can anyone share with me the best way to install a rear deck spoiler with a brakelight? The instructions that came with the spoiler are useless. I looked for a template, but the spoiler doesn't come what a template to allign the holes to drill. The hardware included are 8 mounting screws, two brackets, two felt/rubber gaskets, and 4 rivets(Yes RIVETS)..I don't want to have someone drill holes in my trunk and get it wrong. Has anyone installed this type of spoiler on their GS? It's the OEM type spoiler like the dealer installed unit. I looked in the DYI area and it illustrates another method (with paper templates taped to the trunk)..Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I know there are some of you who don't like /Rear deck spoilers)
Thanks,
CP

Take it to the dealer
Take it to the dealer and pay them, if you screw it up it'll cost you more in the long run. The dealer did my RMM spoiler (very similar to OEM) no problems. Additionally you will need a relay to hookup between the existing brake-light (interior) and the spoiler brakelight if you want to avoid the whole 4th brakelight issue.
