Default Aristo vs GS300 battery

Hey guys so my car's battery is on its way out and I'm about to buy a new one. I'm just not sure battery to purchase. Does anyone know if the GS and the Aristo use the same battery?

I dont wanna end up wasting my money on a GS battery if it wont even work on my car.

Any help/input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It will be the same size, but I think the positive and negative terminals are swapped.

Theres no such thing as a "GS" battery. Just go in and ask for the same sized battery with the same amount of cranking amps that your battery has and ask for one with the the terminals in reverse. In fact, just bring the battery in and they'll match it up.

i know theres no such thing as a "gs" battery, and the label of the battery that is currently installed is in japanese, so i dont know any info about the cold cranking amps, thats why i was asking.(i dont see why theyd be cold cranking amps would be different between the gs and aristo tho)

But yeah, i'll probably just bring my battery in and get them to find one that matches up.

it would be the same as the US counter part. Same motors and what not, just toss in a redtop or even a Lexus battery (lifetime-ish warranty offered now)

Listen to iToaster and Mr Jokster... just take the battery when you buy the replacement; some places will even give you some cash back for the old batter.

However.. just because the cars are the same platform DOES NOT mean that all parts are interchangeable. For example, I purchased a US radiator for my UK GS430 (RHD) and they are not interchangeable. Make things easier for yourself and your wallet when you're able to.

Comparing a radiator to a bloody battery is a bad comparison. Radiator you have alot more variables than a bloody battery.
