Hey guys,

Got a 12" Alpine Type X sub to go in my boot, but I'm not sure where I can mount it without hitting my fuel tank. I'm sitting it on the top 'shelf' area, but I'm not sure of my clearance. Any wisdom?

Get some industrial Velcro, that will stick hard enough to the floor carpet to keep it in place. The other option is to tack weld a pair of L-brackets to the floorboard with light heat welder (obviously to not ignite the fuel tank) Just surface tacks and screw them into the box. I've done this before and being that they're lite tacks, they come off very easily. Slice tiny slits in the carpet for the brackets to go through and you're in business
