Default Aftermarket Lense and bezel swap to OEM Headlight

Hey guys, I've been thinking lately that rather than buying a new set of headlights, that it would be cheaper to buy a new pair of aftermarket headlights, such as these... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1998-2005-GS300-GS400-GS430-Smoked-Headlights-Left-Right-set-2001-2002-2003-2004-/201372069528?fits=Year%3A2001%7CMake%3ALexus&hash=item2ee2b5ee98&vxp=mtr
...and swap out the lenses and chrome bezel for my old lenses and bezels. I've already taken apart my headlights before, so i'm familiar with the baking process. I'm wondering if anyone has attempted this before and did the bezels and lenses from the aftermarket headlights fit the oem housing?

I will likely try it out regardless, but i'm hoping maybe someone has done this before and can weigh in. I'd hate to go through all that effort and then have them not fit.

I've seen a ton of people talk about wanting to do it, but nobody I've see has actually tried it yet LOL.

I just did the best restoration on my headlights as possible then tinted them with LaminX film.

SPRTNYDSN said that he has swapped lenses no problem. He said that he bought ebay headlights so im not exactly sure if he used depo headlights. Maybe he can chime in.

im doing my retro and picked up some generic headlights from some dude, dot like the housing of the entire headlight assembly so was going to try and just put everything into the oem housings, if you can wait ill let you all know if it all swaps over.

lol I love how most people clicking the ten million threads that have been named along the lines of this, do so hoping to see that someones found replacement lenses and are not indeed asking this same question hahaha

I just did something similar, though I kept the factory bezels and swapped only the lenses (I have HID's, and the bezels from a non-HID won't work anyway).

I bought these lights: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171827469552?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
The donor lenses fit the original housings perfectly. I have my doubts about how long the aftermarket lenses will last before hazing, but at $180 I am willing to take a chance. For now I'm happy.
