Well that owner is a fool! This is the 2GS!! Low mileage doesn't equal to high inflated pricing. These motors can easily do 300k miles. Telling me it has low mileage does nothing at all. The ONLY two goods thing with low mileage are 1) interior/driver seat should be mint 2) can get a good amount from insurance if you total. Outside of that, everything else is a placebo effect. I respect owners that have over 300k and its still riding good. Thats what I look for.

After a 4hr. ride up and 4hrs. back.
. I am the proud owner of one of the lowest mileage GS4s on the East Coast lol. Dealer wouldn't come off of $8,600 so I gave in. First thing on the agenda....new headrests and console armrest lol. If anyone wants to swap grey headrests and their initials are ROZ let me know. Thanks everyone for the advice on the car. Greatly appreciate it.

I looked at the "ROZ" car the weekend before you bought it. Front driver side wheel was bent, and shook the whole front end at 40+ MPH. No spare tire, driver side door molding was jacked up with epoxy bonding - easy to swap out.. Bent tire with no spare tire was the head scratcher ... made me think it had a major suspension-knocking event. Otherwise, was an immaculately clean car (minus the ROZ billboards throughout). Hope everything works out great!

Fellow CL members, I tracked down a 99GS400 with 47K, dealer won't budge off of $8,600. I know if I go thru with it that the car will need a timing belt service right away. Not sure what to do,
any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Mainly just because the car is 16 yrs. old...not sure how brittle the belt may be. Don't really want to risk it given its an interference engine ya know.
