Help ! Loud ticking Noise from PowerSteering Area
Last night when i turned on my car
i began to hear a LOUD ticking sound my first instinct was that maybe it was low on oil and the noise wast coming FROM the engine.
Oil level was fine
after paying close attention i find that the noise is actually coming from the P/S pump area
P/S fluid level was ok
no apparent leaks
after a little research i found that with time the bearings inside that drive the pulley become dry and wear out .
HAS ANYONE HAD A SIMILAR SITUATION??
