Anyone know what this bracket does near the resonators?

Default Anyone know what this bracket does near the resonators?

So I installed my air ride just under a week ago so I'm still fairly "new" to it. Headed to the gym this morning and was having a conversation with my girlfriend and somehow forgot to air up before exiting my driveway. Got a real good scrape, aired up, and pulled back forward. Checked out under the car, seemed normal, so we went on our way. I noticed a sort of buzzing/vibration (not sound as much as just feeling it). Got back home and took another, longer look, and realized this bracket twisted and it now pushed up against my exhaust. Just curious if anyone knows what purpose it serves? Plan on taking it off and trying to twist it back to its flat shape.

Pretty sure its just there to stop the exhaust from falling under any other circumstance in which the exhaust bolts failed.

Or actually, isnt it under the driveline? Same reason as I stated, but for the driveline. Thats more logical since a u joint would go before an exhaust bolt

I always though it was just a body brace of sorts. Haven't had mine for a while since both bolts broke when I removed it to change up my exhaust...

Alright cool, that was my thought too but I was like, what are the chances of the exhaust falling... haha. Didn't jack it up so I didn't get a really clear look. Just wanted to make sure it didn't need immediate attention for some reason!
