Default Windshield wiper problems.

My wiper blades will not go into the recessed position after turning off. They work fine but just will not go all the way down. Any help is appreciated.

you dont sound ignorant, just sound like someone that doesnt want to break there stuff! haha, try giving them a slight tug upwards, (upwards as in towards the top of the windshield not the sky) and wiggle them a little, seat them back into position, which would just be "winter mode" and try again, this time pushing harder. they click down into position with almost a motion they follow, its not just a straight down click as you can see if you pay close attention to his.... ours are the same just got to put some force into it I assure you.

Like you, I was skeptical too. Matter of fact, I thought I broke the wipers when I actually got it to work. It takes a good amount of force to move them, don't be afraid to give it a good tug.

Thank you. What you said is exactly correct. Update: Felllow Lexans, before seeing this reply, while chamois bathing the car, the genius figured it out. Since I bought it I thought it was odd that Lexus would miss such a detail with the p/s wiper setting so high. Especially when you have cool features such as a surface area where the rear license plate lights are to lift the deck lid without touching the car's paint. Not to mention the little handle inside for closing it. So glad I was referred to this community by Tracy at the Monrovia O' Reilly AP. If any other GS owners in the San Gabriel Valley meet for anything, hit me up.
Notice that the wipers are now retracted.
