Default Question about the rear inner fender well

Ive done a pull and roll on my fenders as wide as I can get them, but some people say you can cut out the inner part of the rear fender well for clearance, but dont take a hammer to it. (will leave tons of dents/dimpels) so im curious if anyone has done it. If so, could you lend any advice? What to do, what cutter/wheel to use. Any precautions. If its not to bad, I plan to do it. But if its to much of a hack job, Ill pass. Just a thought.

I'm confused... if your fenders are rolled and pulled, then the lip inside the rear fender that everyone is referring to should already be flat.

But, to answer your question: I marked off the area I wanted to shave down with tape, shaved it using a cutting disk, sanded the edges once the cutting was completed, then followed up by painting the cut edges to prevent rust. There is a DIY here on the forum though.
