2002 GS300 Retrofit Question's

Hello Everyone,

Has anybody used a 2004 TSX Projector housing on a 2nd Gen GS300?

I got myself a extra pair of headlights. They were in terrible condition. Top one is how I got them and the bottom is re done.

I also came across some 2004 TSX head light's started taking them apart.

Here's a few images of the TSX Projector Housing.

I have talked to Tony @ Luxury Mods, and he told me has blueprints of the brackets to fit the TSX projector to a 2nd Gen GS300

As soon as he tells me that they are done I'll be picking them up if I'm able too, I'll post images of the brackets.

Does anyone have an idea how I would get the projector to fit onto the headlight shroud?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank You.

It would be a while before I go to the next step.

Still need to search up on getting it all installed and putting it together. But as soon as I have some more pictures I'll be posting.

should be relatively easy retro. I wouldnt even bother with brackets. as far as fitting in the shroud it should have no problem as the projector is so small

Nice. You took the GS the headlights apart to clean them on the inside, correct?
Just wondering cuz I've only cleaned/polished mine from the outside and while they look better afterwards, they don't come close to how your's look.

Hopefully it is a simple retro, this would be my first one.

That's only from the outside bro, we have kits at work that we get from 3M

with these retros ive found it easiest to cut the hole in the reflector large enough to have the projector sit like a glove then mount the headlights on the car with the reflector back on. when you get to that point throw some double sided tape on the back of the projector, with your bulbs on aim your headlights where you want them to be and mount to reflector. Once your satisfied with the aim take the headlights out and use jb weld to actually hold the projector and that should pretty much sum it up

You should never clean the insides of the lens or they will yellow even quicker. there is a uv coating that should never be removed.

So the brackets you could buy, whats the point in getting them? I though they mount on to the headlight without using the bowl?

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong . . .

I'm not planning on doing that. It did come across my mind but figured its only the outside that gets messed up from the weather.

the brackets would replace the bowl and allow you to bolt the projector onto it. I think this would be the best way to mount the projectors.

once projector is mounted, you would mount the shroud onto the projector.

here some pics i found with e46 xenon shroud.

it might be a bit small from the pix but it kinda look like the projector could have been mounted closer to the front.

heres more in the 2GS forum.
