So many people have asked how to install an aftermarket single din head unit and keep the factory nav working. What I did was to remove the factory cd player and put the factory stereo in the space the cd player was in. Then I connected the new single din unit to the same speaker wires that the factory unit used (disconnected the 4 speaker wires from the factory unit and connected them to the new unit) now my nav is fully functional and I am using the factory amp. it sounds better than it did with original stereo
Plus I have all the modern features like bluetooth, pandora, hands free cell phone, usb aux etc
