Your car is soooooo sweeeeeet! I love it!!

Those are the exact same mods I want to do next on my car! Seeing your car in the same color as mine just makes the decision easier for me!

Here are pics of my car https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=75832
I have just done the L-tuned springs/shocks/steering ecu/muffler, TRD sways, TRD Front LCB and Toms Rear LCB.

My next set of mods are L-tuned grille/side skirts and TTE front lip. Way to go Lexus GS3. What year is your car by the way?

bluelex 03-02-03 08:50 AM

looks real good, r u going to change the back bumper or leave the stock one.?

GSXOTIC 03-02-03 09:22 AM

Hey the car is nicely done. I love the lips on your wheels!!

Richie 03-02-03 09:47 AM

Very nice, clean look.

Dimiscus 03-02-03 12:05 PM

Your car is sweet, looks really good. How does that front lip spoiler get installed? Is it hard?

GlobeCLK 03-02-03 12:06 PM

hey Tommy, lookin good! I told u it'll be great! :D

400DGRZ 03-02-03 01:48 PM

Is it just the pics or is the center bar on your grill bent?

Lexus GS3 03-02-03 06:37 PM

Thanks for all the good remarks guys!!

Here are da answers on some of the questions u guys asked:
2002 GS300

In the mean time i'm keeping my stock rear bumper, until i find one i really like and it will match my skirts and lip.

Lip was installed by a reputable body shop in San Gabriel CA (Auto Network 21st Century body shop). They used a special polyurethane glue to install the lip to my stock bumper, afterwards they use some kind of bondo to mold the lip to the stock bumper. Cost: TTE LIp 330.00 plus tax from Steve at carson toyota, Installation, paint and labor: 280.00

dagr8tsthustla 03-02-03 06:39 PM

CLEAN PICS!!!

Nice job!!! I like how its so clean!!!:agreed:

GS4Will 03-02-03 08:48 PM

Tommie...bro, the car is very very nice..is auto network better than Marcos?

adn did the shop re-paint the whole front bumper?

LOTC 03-02-03 09:31 PM

Hey Tommy its me Eric, car looks nice and clean bro! Now all you need are some coilovers to fill that gap. The H/R's are not enough.

eric:thumbup:

Lexus GS3 03-02-03 10:46 PM

Hey Will. They indeed re-painted the whole bumper.

Eric i know the issue about wheel gap. Right now I barely have enough clearance in the front for driveways, I dont think I'm gonna lower my car more with my 18's. Maybe in the future when i get 19's or 20's.

Again thanks for all the good remarks. I love the TTE lip. I'm so glad i didnt get the Greedy lip.

MrSypher 03-03-03 11:21 AM

Looks nice.. Whats next??

fireballs gs400 03-03-03 12:49 PM

your pics!!!

When i seen your pics i was all smiles, Your gs is exactly like mine...or will be, my gs is in the shop as we speak getting the ltuned and tte front lip(thanks to steve) and my h&r coils will be put on sometime in the next week or two...don't know what i should have done...my stereo setup will take about a week, and i am kinda on a time constrant...sounds silly but i want to get it done before spring break, I been through a lot this year and just wanting to treat myself a tad..even though after that i am done...well maybe...but your car is awesome and i can't wait to get mine back as well...n i will post pics..good luck. BTW You happy with having it molded?

Lexus GS3 03-03-03 08:11 PM

FireballGs: havin the lip molded in the bumper makes it look cleaner. I already have people asked me where i bought the bumper, they thought i changed the whole bumper. hehe =). I love the way it looks, is really up to you how you want yours done. Maybe do a search on TTE lip, i'm pretty sure someone didnt have theirs molded and compare to my pic. If u need a close up pic of my front bumper, PM me and i'll send you a pic.

MrSypher: I"m not sure wat i want next. I"m currently looking for a spoiler and a roof spoiler. I might go on the way of swapping my factory stereo to a factory Nav, like bananags did. I"m doing alot of research right now.

tommy

MrSypher 03-03-03 09:47 PM

Sounds like a plan.. What spoiler are you looking into getting??

LS4fun 04-07-03 06:39 PM

How deep is that rear lip! DAMN! nice..very nice.

kevs 04-07-03 07:12 PM

Very nice! :)

ryanSC300lover 04-07-03 07:20 PM

a tremendously well done project

you in college? damn nice car:D

bravo261 04-08-03 02:25 AM

wow, you're the new poster boy for the subtle way to mod properly. those are work eurolines?

Lexus GS3 04-08-03 04:10 AM

Yes they are Eurolines FS. I got them from GS4Will. Thanks WiLL!

ToMMy

D-MAN63 04-09-03 05:10 AM

Very nice setup ! I was thinking about going that route with the front lip and l-tuned side skirts. Very subtle and not overdoing it and it makes the GS look meaner :). Now, I am sure I will be going this route :)

GS4Will 04-09-03 11:30 AM

hey Tommy...no problem bro...we should have lunch at the cafe place again soon.

gs4fun, those shoes are Work euroline FS, 8.5+9.5, 2.75"/3.5" lips;)

Lexus GS3 04-10-03 12:11 AM

Sure Will, give me a call. I need to talk to you about some other rims. I'm looking for 20's or 19's. Do you still have my numba? IF not PM me for it.

Tommy

GS4Will 04-10-03 12:15 AM

T..sure, when we meet up, i will bring few wheel books for you to see

Manaray 04-12-03 02:55 AM

Just for kicks...

20's and lowered...

Hameed 04-12-03 05:32 AM

Manaray, that looks awesome !! :D

Stealther 04-12-03 08:04 AM

Wait...Wait... 20s would be ghetto, right? ;) Man, it's pretty impressive how a small change like that sets the car off.

You didn't get my reference to the other thread going on right now. That's why I put a smiley on the end.

Hypermagic 04-12-03 02:22 PM

tinted window

Just wondering,

if you still in California, how do you get your window tinted without getting caught?
Thanks

You can do one or all of the items below....

1) Pay $1800 for a lifetime membership to the CHP 11-99 foundation
2) Join the CHP
3) Join the LAPD
4) Be part of any one of the LAPD special programs (SWAT is a good one)
5) Have friend who is either a LAP or CHP officer
6) Leave the car in the garage or drive it only on private lots

:)

From my experience, so long as you're following the traffic laws and you're not trying too hard to act like a pimp(le), most cops will leave luxury cars alone (but that's not any sort of guarantee)....

GS4Fun - Hehehe...like he said, he was just kidding...someone else mentioned that they think that anything over 18" is ghetto on a GS...

Stealther - Yes. Most definitely, it's the little things...that why I always say it's worth the extra effort, time, or money to attain perfection (which comes in many forms).

Lexus GS3 04-13-03 03:52 AM

Dammit, does my rims look too small or wut? Now after Manaray did some magic on the picture, 20's does looks sweeter. I'm still not goin on the 20's route. Maybe da most is 19's for me. Nowadays da road in LA California is getting worser and worser =( juss ran into a big pot hole, luckily nothing happened to my wheels.. I was praying for god

Tommy

MrSypher 04-13-03 09:10 AM

Tom, to be honest with you... Yours rims look alittle small and the tires look alittle big..... But it doesn't look bad....
