Hello, Today my 01' GS430 had a slight issue going down hill. the the revs shot up to about 2300. i pressed the throttle and then the brake after and the car downshifted. I'm not sure what happened but it felt like it didn't downshift at first.
2ND time this happened

So, what is the issue here? and what kinda maintenance would be good for a high mileage transmission to keep it running for a long time down the road?
