Question GS400 Vs. GS430

Hey guys,
I was wondering what if any differences there are between
the 400 and the 430. Naturally they have different engines,
but are there any body, interior, or any other differences?
Looking into trading my LS4, so i was curious.

Thanks
-R

Default Hey bro.

I can tell ya cus. I had both. stock 4 stock
GS400 V8 4.0 w/E-shift LEV
GS430 V8 $.3 No E-shift ULEV. I really miss the the SMT buttons.

tranny ecu,25lb more torque, different tails, greenish tint on headlamps & bunc of options swapped like DVD Nav vs. ROM Nav.
Mark Levinson. Go to Lexus Web site to see the listed options. The 430 seems to have more interior isolation & noise damping stuff. My 430 seems to be more stiff & tighter. I think it's just the Sways that are doing that.

Talking

400: E-shift, leather wheel, Nakamichi stereo as upgrade, HIDs were not standard tho present on many cars since they were part of several option packages, NAV CD based. 4.0 L V8, 300 hp, 310 lb-ft tq.

430: No E-shift, wood wheel available, Mark Levinson stereo is the upgrade stereo, HIDs standard, NAV DVD based. Little more wood trim inside. Some slightly different colors. 4.3 L V8, 300 hp, 325 lb-ft tq.

I'm sure there's more but that's all that pops into mind.

The nav on the GS400 is HARD DRIVE based not CD. The nav on the GS430 is DVD based and also has a wider (16:9) screen.
