Default M45 retrofit inquiry

I just obtain some OEM hid head lights and m45 projectors. Next step get in touch with luxury mods order brackets and maybe clear lenses for the projectors. My dilemma my projectors are both for the passenger side....? Not sure if I can still do this setup I once read that these are directional and I have to have the Right and Left side. Any one know if this is 100% accurate?

I used same side projectors when I did my retrofit and I didn't have any problems.

if i recall correctly you shouldnt have a problem. if anything you will just have to drill new holes on to the bracket which is no big deal. theres plenty of room. and mount the projectors from there. i would recommend using some long studs i believe the size were 8X32 or something like. they can be found in your local hardware store. good luck and post some pics

Another question about the headlights, The driver side has a deep scratch just curious if it is worth salvaging?

i would just get new ones honestly. no point on spending the effort to install nice projectors and have a bad lens.

My bad bro, I thought you're doing the Q45 retrofit. I did the Q45 retrofit, not the M45.
