Default Lexus GS 300 HELP?

I'm looking to buy a second daily car. Something reliable, spacious and fun. I thought a GS 300 would be good. Whats your thoughts on them. I found this one in particular, very clean and i have test driven it. My only concern is that the mileage is very high, (300,000 km). is this car worth it? it costs 3,600 pounds and the price is negotiable. It is a vvti 2jz and i have heard that they are hard to tune? max i would have is 400/450 hp... Thoughts on it and any other suggestions welcome!
i have now moved to saudi arabia thus the website and car type..................................

Thanks in advance!

It looks to be basically a stock 2jz. If it is regularly maintained, there is no tuning to be done. I bought mine with 124k miles on it. It has 183k on it now and the only reason I have done anything to it is because I don't know what had been done before maintenance-wise. I performed the 90k mile service (timing belt, water pump, seals, gaskets, etc) a few weeks ago. If you are not sure that has been done recently, I would have that done. After that, there is virtually nothing to do outside of regular maintenance.

just make sure it's been maintained properly, like the person before me said. I have a 2001 gs300 with 335,671(ish)k miles on it and i've had very little trouble with it, and even then it was easily fixed.
they're amazingly reliable cars
