Default help, dash lights don't work

Aloha club lexus....... I need some help. So, my car was running, parked it, turned it off, pulled key out ignition, forgot to air car down, put key back in and started car, aired down, and noticed my dash lights wouldn't come on(speedometer, tachometer........everything)? Any help is much appreciated.

Do you leave your lights set to Auto? Or do you just turn them on and off yourself? The cluster lights up through these tubes near the front defroster, that could be a reason, but I am not 100% sure. I ask because sometimes when I turn my car on, the lights on the shifter and climate control dont turn on until I turn the lights on and put it in drive.

I turn my lights on manually. I played with all the settings and the dash dimmer/****...... nothing. When the car is on, it shows a little seat belt light with a red circle in front of it flashing. I've searched and can't find anything or figure it out.

I honestly don't know what happened. Kept messing with the dash and light switches and that wasn't doing anything. Hooked up my friends scanner to pull codes and nothing came up at all. I disconnected the battery, waited 20 seconds or so, re connected battery, and now everything works fine. Don't Know what the problem was or what caused it. Just glad it works again.

Nope wasn't that.. I messed with that ****. Nothing...... my dash was blacked out. The dash didn't even light up a bit like it normally does when you start the car. None of the indicator icons came on either. Just glad it works now.
