Default Help! Problem putting in new grille

So I'm switching my grille to an 01+ grille I just got, but can't get the two bolts that fit into the latch off my old one, the new one didn't come with them. They just turn I've tried clamping down one end and taking them off but still no luck, obviously can't put it on without the latch attached, thank you!

Try using penetrating oil if you haven't already. Or a breaker bar. If that doesn't work a bolt/ nut cutter from any auto part store. They should sell the bolts also.

Stuff called PB Blaster penetrating oil. Just spray, let it sit for a few minutes and try to get the nut loose. If not just spray and repeat. May take a bit, but it has never failed me. Wont damage parts or leave a residue after you clean it up.

Thanks guys, it was hard to tell if they were even meant to seperate, they're pretty rusty, I'll try that though. Brand new 01 grille looks so much better than mine now lol

Ok! So these are what I'm talking about! How are you supposed to remove these?

hard to tell what bolts those are but looks like you may need a Allen wrench . are they circle with a hexagon center? hard to tell in the pic. I'm using my phone.
