Like a few other guys have said, budget for some coilovers, doesn't matter how nice your wheels are, they're gonna look ghetto if you're not dropped properly.

I define ghetto as looking slapped together and "incomplete" with no thought to how the mods will flow with each other. Wheels that don't fit well, massive fender gap, gaudy wheel design, tacky "mods" that look like you bought everything that was cheap on eBay. It's like Justice Stewart's description of pornography; it's hard to define but I know it when I see it.

What are you trying to say? Don't see what's that ignorant or offensive about that term.

Skewed priorities for sure. Ghetto? Yeah, I can see that.

I know what u mean. But its not like im getting cheap red rims, blue hids, and gucci/coach inserts in my interior. The only supporting mods for rims is a drop, and i dont want coils since i think springs will take away the 4x4 stance that 20s will give it. Im keeping my car stock & IMO I dont think anything could make it look better then how it already is. Its a 430. So it has the 01+ tails that i think look better then leds. I love the stock hids that it comes with. And i like the interior just how it is. I say expensive cause i think they tend to look better then the cheap ones. I value my stock wheels and i would never downgrade to a set of wheels that are not worth more then them. Lexus was built with quality and i think they deserve a set of quality wheels. Regardless of what our cars are worth nowadays, i know my cars value and what it was new. So im going to treat it like the luxury car that it is. I really dont know how "ghetto" even got brought up, as if my thread title didnt answer for that. Im getting 20's not 24's.

I like your approach of buying quality the first time around. I've been down the "springs will be good enough" road as have many other people. Trust me, it won't be long before you're wishing you'd just gotten coilovers in the first place and not wasted money on springs.
