Lol bro you need to go to a shop and have someone connect the machine to your car. That will tell you what codes your car is currently suffering from. Do you understand now?

My car keeps going into limp mode and I cant figure it out, Im hoping someone can help me out. I have no check engine lights on, no codes. I checked my TPS and APP sensors and both checked out with the correct ohms. I really thought it was going to be the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor but I guess not. Not sure where to look next....any advice guys?

Wow. Okay. When the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light - also known as Check Engine Light) is on, that means that the car's brain (the ECU - engine control unit) has determined there is some measured parameter that is functioning outside of it's normal range of operations.

When this happens, the ECU will actually tell you what is wrong. In order for it to do that, you need to hook a diagnostic device up to the car's OBD-II (On Board Diagnostics version 2) plug - which is located underneath the steering column on our cars (and most others).

So, when people said "tell us the codes" - that means that you need to go get someone to read the codes from the ECU using a code scanner. We know that it has codes because the MIL is on.

Cliff's Notes: Take your car to AutoZone or some similar shop that will read the Check Engine Light codes for free. Then come back and tell us what the codes are.
