I never mentioned that I already did the cleared signals and M6 Wedge bulbs. Also, my car was tinted at the dealer and is dark enough for me. It is mirrored enough and you have to get up close to look in...Ill take a pic sometime tomorrow....

Since its Sportsdesign I already have L-tuned(Kyb) Struts according to people on the board. I guess I could do springs...

BTW i looked in the classifieds for parts...All that is there is cut springs and CamRen's stuff he is selling.

I dont want to do anything SO drastic as the car is leased....

About the exhaust tips I dont like them... They stick out way too much...Case in point is this monstrosity....

Dude, there is NO BEST MOD for under $500 or any price. It depends on what you want first. Quite frankly, I'd do sway bars first. But IMO, it's the best, someone may say HIDs. Someone will say springs. ETC ETC ETC

It is what you want. I will warn you as others before me have warned me....

ONCE THE MOD BUG BITES YOU, YOU WILL BE TERMINALLY ILL!

I second that....I've tried staying away...and still, I keep comin back for more!!!!

It's like I said before....SHOW OR SPEED....either way you are going to be spending alot more than $500.....also not everyone you take to install tips are pro's....if it's a lease...i think you should stick to SHOW......2 things just came to mind.....TTE front lip....$299 from STEVE (I think $314 shipped) painted and installed $150.....or.....L-Sportline roof spoiler.....$214 shipped or even cheaper now??? $100 to paint and install.....or 1 more...CF UGO roof spoiler....very nice...I think $399....dont' know shipping and don't quote me on this price...contact STEVE for pricing info......once again just my .02.....hope this helps!

mdw131...

Point taken on your case above, but IMO that's not a good example and is a cosmetically offensive install (sorry to the owner if you happen to read this. Plus I still personally don't like the faux GS430 badges on the GS400 ).

Take a look at the right way to do tips; they look like the real thing.... Some examples below.

Hehe this is ALEXUS car. I told him to cut the orginal pipes down a bit before installing the tips. If you do this they vill be aligned with the bumper and look really nice.

I guess this is the price you have to pay when you post picture of you car all the time

Try Todd at TMEngineering.net. You definitely could get the hardware for very near that price. But you will also have to pay for labor as well...

If the car is leased then theres is not much you can do because you will probably spend double the labor put them on and take them off when you turn the car in...

As for cut springs. EVERYONE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM CUT SPRINGS!!!!!!

Never cut your springs - it's not worth the price difference of new springs!!!!!
