Hey lexus lovers,I have a big problem and need some advice or solutions to this issue. Ok I have a 2001 lexus gs430 with 279k miles now. The car has been 100% since I got her three years ago With like 200k!! about a year ago I changed the knock sensors cause was throwing code p0325 !but recently for bout couple of month or so the check engine comes with the code p0325 knock sensor again! I've taken it apart about 10 times changed half of the harnes changed wires changed knock sensor again thinking they were defective but they were not , I also change the tps. Someone please help me out with this problem.i don't want to end up selling it . I love this car! I have done every single maintenance , from spark plugs ,oil changes, timing belt water pump ,everything!! Please help Thanks everyone..

You have to look back on everything buddy. Did you purchase an OEM Lexus sensor or an aftermarket? I've seen thru experience that most aftermarket sensors are not as effective as OEM. Aside from that, you should be alright. I hope your issue is resolved my friend. Good luck!

Thanks aneidiaz for responding! Yes the part I bought were original however I did purchase a knock sensor from advance that I also replace thinking that could be defective ,but still throwing code p0325 ,I also want to say that I replace both pass and driver,the problem is the driver side,I don't have any other idea of what could be wrong , I think the PCM is bad,or something inside engine could be making like an abnormal sound ,maybe a lifter? A valve? And this knock sensor is picking up that sound and end putting the car in limp mode??? ,I really need some help, it's been very desesperating, the car runs so good when the check engine light is off,u can't even tell this car have this many miles ,cry:

I ALSO HAD MY KNOCK SENSORS and relpaced both of them with oem cleared the ecm and ive had no problems since and its been over a year.I replaced them when i had 174k and i was drifting in 2nd gear high rpms and again no CEL since replacement

Just be patient my friend. Read more on this topic. I've never had this problem yet. But I can assure you that reading on here threads that have to do with your problem will be a good start. Might not find your answer right off the bat. Might need to read a FEW threads but eventually you should be able to piece things togther sooner or later. A better perspective on you diagnosing what the actual problem maybe based on your circumstances. Plenty of OGs on here too that are very knowledgable in the 2GS forum. Debonair, Sakataj, etc. Be patient, everything will be ok. I hope your issue is resolved soon!
