clean 98-05 gs headlamp assembly

has anyone on cl tried cleaning their headlamp assembly to get rid of oxidation, dirt,etc? I saw some people talking about it on another forum. this sounds difficult....

Not difficult at all. Meguiers and Blue magic both have a headlight restoration kit.

sorry wasnt specific enough.by cleaning i meant removing the assembly, opening it and cleaning it.
