I have read all over on here that when in Snow mode the car starts in 2nd. My GS4 doesn't, never has. Mine is a very low serial number, around 4000, mine was made in 1997 actually.

Is it a 98 thing that the cars doesn't start in 2nd? It restricts the throttle quite a bit. You can drive all day in snow mode and it just upshifts early and restricts power, but doesn't start in 2nd.

Easy to test, put in manual 1st, vs D in snow mode, it is all the same.
