Changed my AC and Radio display color

Ok guys.. here is my latest mod. I have finally got around to changing that nasty green display. I got the idea from a fellow member(awhiteguy) to change this. I changed my ac and radio display to a white/blue the ignition, shifter, and cigarette lighter. Total time I took was a bout 1.5 hours. This was to remove all parts modify, and reinstrall.... It looks sweet to me. I will post pics of the finished product once it gets dark.....

Dash lighting
Oh for sure.. I have to figuire out how to do one of those DIY posts... It really wasn't a pain at all... Just takes some patience and the right tools....You don't want to start unless you have the right tools. Also, I did not have any spare parts left over, so that is always a good sign right??

Rock, did you ever work in radio shack before? You must have some sort of electronics backgroud to figure all these cool little mods. Eagerly awaiting pictures

Ahh you're gunna beat me to it!
I was planning on changing the door LED's to white ones. The cover on my LS's doro switches is black and the green light barely shines through.
Also, did anyone know that the key holes on the doors are illuminated too?
They are too dim to see though.

Nah, never worked at Radio Schack... Was in the Corps for the past 12+ years. And I was an Embarkation Chief there. I just have a knack and patience for this stuff I guess.... But yes, I will post pics as soon as it gets dark.... I did the AC and Radio displays in Blue and the controls in a white/blue... but I may have to go to a red or blue control color. It loos pretty much much without much color so far. But as soon as it gets dark... we shall see. I did change the foot lighting and ignition and those look cool for now.. I think.
