Here is the red display.. Although in the pics it looks orange.. it is not orange. It is RED..... For some reason.. it comes out that way. Lemme know what you all think...

1) I was talking about the buttons around the NAV unit. every button like the A/C, the map, etc. i was thinking about changing them to white or light blue, but when I took the NAV unit out from the dash i couldn't pull the cover off from the unit. seems like alot of things are attached.
even until today i still want to try to take the nav face off. I want to do something with the face only
2) when I checked some japanese guy's Aristo, his A/C and radio screens are lit by cathode tubes. he changed them to white tubes and the screens turn white. I guess US GSs use just lightbulbs?

Red Ignition & Boots
Rock, was it easy to change the ignition light to red? This would be the only mod I would consider since I have the navigation and the dash is already very bright. Also, in your response to the floor light (in red) you stated "boots" what is this? a type of bulb?

what exactly are you using? led's or bulbs and rubber boots over the bulb or both? if led's -which ones...and does anyone know where to get cathode tubes from that we could mod into our sc's?
