Default Small questions that don't deserve their own thread... thread.

This should be a useful way to ask small questions that don't require creation of a new threads. If anything, I'll just use this thread to post all of my personal small questions.

First question I have is...

What type of fastener do I need to attach the small rubber shield to the fender well? Screw type, press type? Also, if you know what I need and have the fastener, please sell it to me. I hate seeing it dangle around. Once I get off of work I will take an actual picture of what I'm talking about. I need the fastener for both sides of the car.

Just a FYI BTDT:

I bought a plastic riveter and have an assortment of rivets. I've found it useful for all kinds of replacements, but of course they are not reuseable. My gun and lots of the rivets cam from USA Marson but H. Frt now offers but YMMV.

New question! Check engine light came on and I hooked my scanner up. P0430 was shown which is bank 2 cat. Car is running fine so I thought I'd throw a bank 2 sensor 2 02 sensor at it first. I'd like to know where to find a good price on this part. I'd like to get plug-n-play. Not sure if the best deal is just to pick one up from advance auto. Just not sure where the deals are these days. Thanks.

I picked mine up from eBay for <$250 shipped for 4x Denso's (GS430). However, you should also be able to find them on Amazon and RockAuto for cheap as well.

Yes, I need one for an 03 gs300. Bank 2 sensor 2 part number that I have is 234-4603, hopefully that's correct.

Mrmartin,

Glad you brought up the issue of the fasteners for the splash shield for the wheel well. I've wanted to ask about it for so time now, but it seemed so minor compared to other issues we post i.e.timing belts, LCAs, etc. Thanks.

I have done some research on the blue tinted wide angle mirrors people are installing on their 2nd gen GS's. Most of the threads I find on these mirrors are from 2008-2010 then they seem to drop off. Does anyone know if the RHD Toyota Crown mirrors work fine or have a bad blind spot for beinga RHD mirror? Where in the world can I find blue tinted mirrors for my 03 GS300 that are functional?

Does anyone know how to repair this? A screw from the side of the radio rubbed on it a few times and make these ugly scratches. Maybe some black dye in small amounts rubbed on to make it blend more?

I had the same problem. Here's what your looking for. Part #s associated with what your looking for are: 75861A (Right~Pass) & 75862A (Left~Driver). The 2 plastic clips that hold it onto the car directly below is part #75867A. I do not know what the part # for the screw that goes into the neon thing... But I', sure the other side has it and you can take it out with a screwdriver and go to the nearest hardware store and find one just like it The dealer is charging $10 for little screws like that nowadays LOL. Or go on SewellParts.com IDK WHAT I WOULD'VE DONE IF I HADN'T HAVE READ AND FOUND IT
