Clearcoat started chipping on my oem one. I repainted with an oem spray can. It looks fine. Just another optionif you reay don't want the chrome.

I've seen them going for about $150-300 so I thought I got a good deal, that's the cheapest I've seen em for.m, the $30 shipping sucks, but I'll be happy...

Oh, I'm not saying that's a bad deal at all. I work in the parts trade, so I've got a few personal connections I can use to source parts on the cheap. List price on it is around $100, so you did alright with shipping included.

On a side note, watch out for the nuts that hold the old bar onto the trunk as they tend to get rusty. Mine had seized completely to the studs on the trunk bar and I had to split the nuts to remove it.
