Default New Lexus owner and LOVING it!!!!

Hey all. I start with a Civic and now I'm here. About a month ago I purchased a 2002 Lexus GS300. It has, well had, 128,500 miles and I brought it for $7000. No body damage just some small scratches. It is the Sports model, charcoal gray exterior with black leather interior.

From looking at the threads on here, I want to do A LOT to it. I plan on keeping it. The first thing I need to do is a timing belt and water pump change. What else should I get changed while I'm getting those changed?

And after that, what would you recommend I start on next? Maintenace and Mods?

Sorry about the pictures. I will take some more when I wash her. LOL

Nice GS congrats.... Besides what u mentioned, do the common front suspension stuff: lower ball joints, caster arms, tie rods, etc...

Welcome to the boards and don't forget to change your lower ball joints, the gs is known for those evil ball joints!

Beautiful. And as other stated, check out lower ball joints! Will save you a lot of trouble doing before things happen.

flush all the fluids, replace the front suspension, replace spark plugs. If there's any vibration the engine and tranny mounts should be replaced. Clay bar the car and give it a nice detail. Tint the windows. Lurk the for sale forum and you'll find mods for cheap!

Welcome to CL and congrats on the new ride. Great color combo. What part of Georgia are you from? Be sure to check out the southest section as we have many meets and events that you should come out to and meet fellow Lexus enthusiasts first hand.
